Based on the operating schedule of the project’s road management unit, the average operating time of the lights is about 11.5 hours/day. They are turned on from around 17:30 to 5:00 the next morning.

Using smart LED bulbs helps save electricity costs twice:

LED lights have lower power consumption than HPS but higher luminous efficiency, ensuring lighting requirements.

Smart LED lights can adjust brightness and power consumption + Control cabinet systems are synchronized and actively controlled, thereby easily controlling electricity consumption.

In terms of investment costs, based on practical experience and calculations, the project’s payback period is estimated to be around 5-10 years (savings on electricity consumption, management and operation costs, maintenance).

From a social perspective, it helps reduce light pollution, environmental impact, and enhances the quality of life for residents by saving electricity and eliminating hazardous waste from HPS lamps.
